Torpah is a range of 3 “single hop” Blond Beers. Torpah concept consists in highlighting how different varieties and soils of hops, in equal quantity, can influence the flavor and the bitterness of a same beer. Torpah 30-60-90 declination is directly linked to the bitterness and the IBU (International bitterness unit) level of each beers.
Torpah 30 is brewed with « Wai Iti », a hop from North Island of New Zealand. This hop brings intense fruity aromas giving out a pleasant fragrance. You will taste hints of peach, and more exotic flavors such as passion fruit, tangerine and lime.
Wai Iti has a low alpha acid, which provide a balanced bitterness to the beer.
Torpah 60 is exclusively hopped with Aramis, French hop from Alsace.
This hop will strongly differentiate itself by a range of green flavors, you will taste hints of flowers and fresh cut herbs even lightly spiced. Based on the quantity of Aramis used in Torpah 60 and the medium Alpha acidity of this hop, Torpah 60 bitterness will be relatively high.
Torpah 90 is brewed with Chinook, a hop from Idaho (North-west of USA).
This hop has a very high alpha acidity, which will give a strong bitterness to Torpah 90. Regarding the aromas, you will fell the mix of zesty flavors, especially grapefruits, which will provide a great and lasting taste in mouth.
